Bizot Echezeaux 1999
Bizot Echezeaux 1999
91-93 Points - Burghound
"From En Orveaux which produced only 27 hl/ha). The undisputed star of this lineup with its deep, rich color and much more reserved personality. A little work in the glass produces an initial whiff of sweet Vosne spice, slightly austere and serious flavors and incredible length. The lower yields and old vines (50 years old) show in this wine as it is both big, dense and rich yet sacrifices nothing in the way of flavor detail. Reference standard Echézeaux, which should drink well from 2008 or so."
